hi
anyone know where i can get some decent one shot hits from in a drum and bass vain, ive tried some house type hits ive got but they dont sound right.
i chopped up an old funk break and used the individual hits and it sounds bangin, but again we have this issue of using copyrighted hits, what if i changed the hits with distortion etc does the copyright still stand.anyway besides all that sx=t back to my original sound, if anyone knows a source for me to obtain beats, fx etc id be greatfull.

Speaking about the copyrights, it applies as long as the sample is recognisable. But you should not worry too much for drumming copyright, because similar or same snares/drums with yours, even if they come from diff. source, are already in use.
Today you hear one snare, tomorrow you find it in 3 more tunes. It is too much widespread to be tracked already.
