This is my point exactly, The Chronic said that the new server would be about 1000 euro's (sorry Ive not got a euro key on my keyboard). And I could definately afford at least 20 or so, thats only about £10 which is nothing. Find another 9 people to do the same and youre on the way already. It's gotta be worth doing.

been down again for 5 hours...

Gone down again. Saw it after an hour so the downtime was not very long.
I'm going to shut down the server sometime next week... sorry for that but I need to take action before I get a corrupt hard drive...

Oh damn I accidentally left the backup file of the old server inside the drumnbass directory. The server has now started the daily backup routine and is now compressing a file which is well over 80gb in size 
It will be slow for a few hours I guess.
