spectrasonics trilogy, getting a bit long in the tooth now but still a great vst.
and omnisphere can handle anything you want to chuck at it, from wobbles to wahs to waubs, strings, pads.
and with the integration update you can know have all the trilogy/trillian patches in omni too
essential not really but ever so nice.

Not really essential but very useful is Garritan Orchestra and Spectrasonic atmosphere, for sci-fi pads suited for dnb production.
and something that i really find essential and i'd like to buy not warez is NI BATTERY with 30gb sound bank, surely is the shit.
and definetly massive when it comes to basses, or simply waveforms. for anything else there is mastercard.
