Hey

I havent got any money so I stole my mums stereo set. Smile
and found 2 old speakers on the attic which have been used in a pub 20 years ago.
used a headphone first but it broke..

now I know that most of the regular speakers have boosted highs and lows so should I boost the mids when mixing on them Confused

and is there any kind of way to test this?
broke my back on a ski trip so I'll be spending plenty of time mixing hope u can help me out.

thnx and sorry if my english isnt that good.

Yes, as it is written in Killer Fan's thread, especially this (which applies to your speaker set):

You can start with these, yes, but make sure you listen many songs on them before you start using them as monitors, as you have to know how they interpret/change the sound. And don't move them around, make sure you position them in the best position before you start anything with them. For this, start reading some positioning rules for speakers.
