Thread: Omni Control with traktor pro |
|
Im thinking of getting omni control.
Can I record from within Traktor while using omni control or will I have to use one of the two outputs on the omni control to plug into a laptop or something to record?
And will I literally just plug the omni control in via usb and I can just use that completely? i.e. without a soundcard?
Thanks

Thread: Acapellas |
|
Hi,
I have not had a chance to make too much music lately as I am working a full time job (and more).
I really want some new acapellas to inspire me as I don't have time to F around with synths and stuff anymore....
I have old acapellas but I want some new quality acapellas. I am willing to even pay for them, but if anyone could point me to where I could get some that would be good.
An example of one that I would like is Alborosie, Herbalist.
Thanks.

Thread: Sampling, Re-Sampling, Multisampling and note (integrity?) |
|
Hi All.
Resampling. Simple idea...but should I be bouncing multisamples each time I process my sample, because if I want to play this note that I've bounced and re-bounced, say a G-note, then what range can I play it over before you can tell that it is a single note that is being pitched to much?
Hope that makes sense. It may seem pretty obvious to just use your ears to tell when a note is being stretched too far from its original pitch, but multi-sampling seems like a task involving way too much time, especially when re-sampling over and over!
thanks.

Thread: Good Hard Drive? |
|
Hey yall.
Been using a crossfire hard drive for the past few years, and its been really good. Problem is it is now full! its 250 gb....
I now want to get a 500gb or 1tb drive, and I want a good sturdy reliable one, preferably one that is used professionaly in music ....
I've found this one which I know is used in a lot of studios:

But that is a bit too expensive....
Any advice would be appreciated.
Im using a mac.
Thanks.

Can anyone tell me with some certainty what key this tune is in? and then if you really wanna impress me could you tell me what the chord progression is in the intro, and then the bassline... (which I think is the same sequence as the chords in the beginning.
I reckon its F minor but I'm not sure.
Thanks.

C0 is a pretty crappy place to have your sub dude, do you think that sounds good? I think that F sharp is pretty damn low for a sub
