hi , i really liked the intro , then was a bit let down by the bass Frown , maybe u should change around the instruments that were after the bass drop and had a breakdown , then bring in the bass for a drop if u know what i mean !!

some very nice elements , beats sound crisp Smile !!

hi , yea like it Smile .. needs to be a bit clearer , sounds abit muffled , not a lot , but the bass seems to need a bit more eqing !! the drop needs a vocal or something i feel it lacks impact !!

I tried Reason (1.0, 2.0) and it was OK, but it's like learning a foreign language. No matter how hard you try, you'll never be able to express yourself as good in it as in your mother tongue.
The biggest issues I had with Reason were:
- the many things you "need to know" about it before you can produce hassle free (don't ask me what, as you can see from the versions I tried it was a few years ago).
.

well reason 1-2 are nothing compared to what it is now , not a patch on it and the great thing about having the internet now , is that theres loads of tutorials on utube n other sites , so u can get ur head around things so much quicker nowa dayz Smile !!

I'd have to disagree on that, to be honest.
Reason has one of the most userfriendly sequencers out there.
I've tried Cubase, Ableton, FL, and more recently Nuendo.
I even tried getting my head around a tracker like Renoise, and I always came to the same conclusion: Reason is so much easier to work with.
It does what I want, when I want it. Something I couldn't say for Cubase or FL.

I guess what it boils down to is personal choice.
If you take a long time Cubase user, and give him nothing but Reason to work with, he'll get lost in a myriad of ways, and vice versa.
Which is why we all have our preference of DAW, and such a wide spectrum of different "soundsets".
ie: A track made with Cubase and VST's will sound different if you remake it in Reason, etc etc...

Edit: Ciaran, you can make a spectrum analyser in a combinator yourself, if you want.
It's not exactly accurate, but it does help.
Check the JimmyC Combi pack in the samples section. Wink

me too .. i dont know what u mean really , cubass is really hard to use and reason is very simple with combi patches and the sequencer is the best thing about it , as its easy to get around unlike cubass !!
