Thanks for the reviews. I removed the synth and now track sounds a lot better. Also changed the beat. Got to add some more elements because now it sounds a little bit empty. I'll post it here as soon as I finish it. Again cheers for the feedback.

I am not a big fan of jump up, but this is huge! Like those drums. They go very well with the bass. Cool pads at the background, they create dark and mystic atmosphere. Drop is massive! I like everything here, track is well produced, just add some variations. Good luck.

Agree with doolhoofd, vocals don't fit very well. In some parts reese bass is too loud and "reesy" imo. Drums are nice. The whole tune consists of basses, a bright melody and some ambient high synth would give this track more contrast. And of course track needs a bit more variations. Everything else is just fine, good luck finishing it!

Hey people, I started working on a new track today, it has no intro or outro, just the main idea. I would like to hear some opinions and advices to change some things on the early stages.

Brilliant tune. I only don't like the snare. It would be better if you replaced the main snare with the snare from the intro imo.

Quality! Loving it. Those vocals fit there very well. Bassline is massive! Is it neurofunk?

What sound driver do you use? Maybe it causes this problem.

It's too loud, lower the output gain. Limiter can also help...

Well done, great track. Unique style, beautiful melodies. Everything is just in place, structure is very good. I like the intro and all the transitions. The one thing that i would replace is the beat. Light amen break mixed with punchy kick and clappy snare would fit perfectly Smile

@ BattleDrone

Yeah, there's too much reverb on some sounds, especially on that high synth, i noticed it after i had uploaded it here... Would be happy to add a vocal in this track, can't find the one that could fit.

@ dLo

I will change a drop just a little, will make the transitions of the intro smoother. And yeah, removing a bass before the drop is not a bad idea, but I have tried that already and it sounds a bit empty, so i will have to find a way to fill those spots Smile

@ Pace

This is the first time i use this kind of drums so they can sound slightly wrong though there is nearly no compression on them. I think that bass and pads are at the necessary volume for this kind of dnb, but I'll check alll the levels one more time. That tip with similar tracks can be useful for me Smile

Thanks everyone for replies, it's nice to hear someone's opinion. I will have all these advices in mind when I'll be finishing song Smile

Thanks for the feedbacks. Very nice to see some good comments. Yeah, i have a problem with snares, as usual, can't get the right sound. I removed the arp in some parts, and it sounds better. Here's the full track http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xUTJsUPn0-k

I really like the drums. Awesome bass, but there are too many layers of synths and basses playing at one time which create some kind of noise imo. Maybe try putting one type of synths in one track's part and other synths in the other part to remove this noise. But very good work overall.

All synths from Native Instruments are great, especially NI Massive. It is good for dubstep and dnb. Albino 3 is not bad. You can also make decent sounds with built-in Fl and Reason plugins. Great sounds can be made with Thor.

Thanks for all those positive feedbacks, I'm very happy that you like it so much. At first i was making simple liquid track, but realized that beat is to hard, so i changed it to this one in this track and made the tempo slower. Here's the full track: http://soundcloud.com/noisebound/noisebound-think

Didn't change many things, just added some effects.
