just sorted, my fault, too much clicking around. shame you can edit and clone patters like you used to be able to but everything else seems pretty sweet

the breaks on that site are pretty good, but you will need to clean them up, slice then get a metronome on them like most jungle breaks. there loads more out and about there on the net, nearly all of them will need cleaning up though.

i find cool edit pro good for tweaking samples and loads the sample into two channels so you can edit each one accordingly... im sure theres better editors out there, but i found it pretty simple to use, good for cleaning up movie samples and editing them

I use acapellas all the time, there are some packs out there with royalty free pellas. another way of getting them is to pay for a voicing (you may have to dig deep depending on the artist). If you are going to use the pellas personally ie not making a profit from them, then you shouldnt into any bother at all. At the end of the day dnb and jungle was built up on 'stealing' samples, how many people do you think asked the winston brothers for permission to use the amen? Im not oking it, just making a point. I get my jungle tunes cut to dubs for my own use but if you are using them for a more commercial use then look for royalty free acapellas if it make you happy.

either that or cut your own acapellas by getting a copy of the vocal you want and finding the riddim it is being played with. Put the tune (riddim + vocal) into one track, and the riddim into a second track. make sure that both of the tracks are alligned with each other and invert them.

if you buy sample packs then they are usually royalty free so then they are ok to use... magazines such as music tech, computer music are a good source of free, royalty free samples

second that, plus i add a little distortion too if needed
