i love the gabber kick, the basslines a bit to muddy and the drums clip a tad to much.some distortion is good but it is an effect that can easily be over done .i would work your kick and drums more and maybe turn the bass into a lead.harder dnb really relies alot on the drums.im sorry to hear about your computer, you and greyone are in the same boat Frown

the melody is ok,i would like to here some sort of synth between the drums coming in and the beat dropping (kinda like limewax-everything that synth that comes in to the track right before the beat drops)the drums are ok but could use a bit of touching up.theres a snare thats falling in between the 2 and 4 that does give it a roll but sounds more like mismatched loops.match your snares on 2 and 4.if you want a roll in between make sure you turn that one snare shot down enough to make it seem like a real roll.the melody in the second break is good, but when i t drops back in its like a dif song.dont let this slow you down keep moving

i really like the intro part and bass stab on the 1st beat.the shuffle feel is a great idea too.the part the goes up in pitch (on the break) is a touch to loud,it makes the amen seem really weak in comparison when the beat drops.amens are cool but i swear their is so much more out there than the amen.hell suroras pack alone has a shit load of killer breaks.i would redo the drums.......but remember thats just my preference.i would love to remix this too.but man ive got to say your doing great and you have vision, keep it up! thats a whole lotta synth noise at the beginning.it really makes it hard to get a feel for the beat coming in. i can hear what you tried to go for but some of the notes seem to clash in the melody.over all this isnt a bad track ,youve got to start somewhere.i try not to get stuck on a song.i will actually write 5 hooks and maybe come back to one if im feeling it.then ill write that hook out as a song til i get tired and start writing something else.then i mite come back to it in a few days with a fresh set of ears.doing this keeps you moving and always learning.remember just have fun with it and it will come to you.

ok i never noticed this untill i moved to a lesser computer, but the same project made in reason rewired to ableton takes less memory than if you made it with ableton alone with samplers and vsts.so i believe that they (reason) have found a way to keep memory problems down by using there own arsenal of custom made synths.so when you take that and use ableton's vst capability ,you really begin to view rewire as the solution to the vst problem which is what they wanted in the 1st place.so in actuality they solved the vst issue long ago . lol thnx for the insite tomos...i am using reason rewired into ableton Big Grin the song only has about 3 hours on it so far.i just threw it together in a arrangement so i could get some feed back.i am notorious for leaving the drums plain untill the end of the production.i love the drums i just hate having to come up with break ideas .so yeah back to work.....

the drums seem low quality.....maybe thats the distortion fx or something.the half time thing is a good idea but the hats in between the snr and kick seem like they are still going reg time.nice wobble....the drop has a good kick to it ,again though the kick and snr sound muffled.im not really to big on wobble but this isnt a bad song at all.the break is ok but its the same thing as the the beginning .find away to add new things in that second break to keep the listener insterested. like amybe some epic vocal phrase or some big new sample that hasnt been played yet.and a nother half time break would be cool before dropping back in the second time,if got a track on my myspace that has some half time stuff before the 1st and 2nd drop if you want to listen to it.well mang keep working it bro its coming along nicely

yes reason does everything for you..........Tongue yeah right....gotta love ol dillinja 4 that one.really you need to find software that you feel like learning or find a local friend that has software you could try and maybe learn from.once you learn one of them you have a pretty good understanding of what is happening and that will be what helps you.understanding that all of these principals can be applied from one program to another is another thing.look at presets untill you can make your own...play wtih nobs to see what they do....dont be afraid it your music do what you wish with it.if you get frustrated move on to another song.this will keep building on and on till you get to where you want to be.now prepare to be flogged with soap on a rope and beaten within a inch of your life you noob...... Devil everyone must pay to play,we will pick on you from time to time just remember ....its just the internet and we are just people tryin to make it just like you.so if you want help youve got to ask and believe half of what your told and nothing that you see(photoshop).yeah you mite learn how to make"that noisia sound" with a in depth noisia tutorial but what did you really learn if you just followed there step by step guide..........

ABLETON LIVE!!!!!!!!!!! i am now using ableton live and reason rewired......the results are great....i still have my work flow of ableton and time stretching capabilities ,yet i retain the massive sound and mixing board of reason.you pretty much open live 1st,then open reason, then set your audio 1 in ableton to input and make its audio source reason......vola instant vst support for reason and you can even control reason's instruments with your ableton midi........you can use the keyboard wooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooh woooooooooooooooh!

youve got to smoke a fat ass joint and talk in that rasta voice....you must become the MC.......listen to dnb MC'S and what they say ,pick those styles of exprssion on there pronunciation and apply them to your own words.......practice makes perfect shout it on the mic while your mixing to get comfortable and record a bunch of shit.then search your recording for that gem you want.

yeah welcome to the .be we pride our selves on giving helpful advice yet ripping you apart with the score ratio Big Grin its not that your tracks may not be good, its more of you have to really earn it.things that you may think sound good may not sound so great to other people.i learned that a lot of dnb; when you write it ;is left up to the way a person interprets what your really making happen.youve got some good grooves.the track has a good over all feel to it.i dont know what i just heard ,but it sounded like a 20k squeal. like something may have been sampled that was compressed.find out what sample that is and put a low pass over it.keep working this its headed in a great direction.just make sure you tidy up your lose ends with the mixdown end of the deal.the squeal is at exactly
