well CD isnt that bad i guess. it doesnt pop and crack like wax..and usually they dont skip when you get some dumbass in front of the speakers being drunk and pounding on the tables...
not that its ever happened...heh.
i wouldnt want to carry a 25kg bag of records on the plane with me anyway, and since they're my own tracks..i dont wanna press them on dubs because i'm a cheap bastard.
i like that Final Scratch program, but again, cheap bastard.
anyone wanna send me some free vsts? Tongue

i do my own stuff..i dont spin, but cant bring a PC or laptop of my own..
anyone ever use abeltin? i guess with it i could make out a huge long waveform as my set and just mix in snipets with the other cd player..

good kinda jazzy startup. i like the "it takes two" sample.
you might wanna turn the snare sound down a bit when the bass breaks in, or bring the other drums up actually..yeah. the bass and snare really overpower it all.
but then it all the sudden ends and..well. a lot more could be done with this track..add something, cut some stuff out..give it what it neeeeeds baby

2/5 or incomplete Smile

you mean they are samples..haha

ok. theres the samples..
this will be interesting.

its good for what is it. good mixing up and DSP.

i think its solid. good work. a lot of people on this board seem to review and want every track to be LTJ Bukem featuring DJ CLiche,

i commend you.

i think its a good start.

the bass sound could be worked on kinda..when it drops low the bass levels drop out of the track.
the drums and solid, but it kinda gets repetitive
maybe change up the pace of the track after the break.
i dunno. dont take my word as truth. i'm all biased to the evil dark stuff anyway. Smile

most of my influence comes from those like squarepusher and venetian snares and having a jazz drummer as a roommate..not dj straightbeat.

pretty awesome track dude.

i like the big bass and drums. you could maybe compress it a little and bring out all those levels we arent hearing.
i like how it changes from being all scary to be some jumpier style.
good and short. i'm sick of those 8 minute repeatathons.

its a good work in progress.

really good bass in there. you can bring the ambience up a lot. make the bass have something to roll over in the track. the kick sound is kinda annoying..maybe throw a softer kick in there.

sounds kinda like DJ Hidden

ah yes. and i get the first review. the review to be critisized by all other reviews. or not. Tongue

so..good intro. dark and scary..and you seemed to do a lot of delayish reverbs to add depth and ambience...but then..the beat jumped in for a few seconds and fell out again..and was all broke up. i feel you can work on this a bit more. make it scary..make the breaks jump out like a witch on fire in a haunted house when you're alone and everyone else is dead or dying. the drums seem to not take a forefront...and they dont mix into the ambience well..just tweak a little. decent changeups.
i know how writing is..you can only do so much before you say fuck it and just move onto a next track..but its good to take a week off from a track and go back and then smooth it out like fine clay.
