I used it for my last track I made entitled "Jailtime"

You are not making yourself very clear. When you save what? FLP? WAV? MP3? What says 0.01 seconds? FL studio? Media player?

Try reinstalling FL Studio, if you can't get ANY projects to play.

Battle's right, only insert 1+2 and feedback can be placed after the filter stage.
So I'd leave the filters off and use external ones, maybe using something like Tal-Filter2 insted of the performer?

The drums sound a little too far back in the mix and lacking higher frequencies.
Maybe over eq'ed? rolled off too much to try and "punch" them through?
The "positioning" is the modulation, needs to be tighter. Maybe if you recorded the automation it might be worth zooming in and tightening it up abit. On this kind of bass I personally would program it manually. having the automation channel directly below the bass so you can see each note.
That's what I think maybe battle was pointing out.
I like the vibe Big Grin
btw I would defo upgrade from fl9 to 10 Bigup

But WTF do I know? Happy

Check the samples section it is called test tones.

Before you get your knickers in a twist, Battle, the first thing I done was check the samples list. So.... FFS don't make me download a file called test tones, when they clearly are...test tones Evil
I've searched back to 2008 in most sub-sections in the forum and havn't found the post, which is why I asked if anyone "remembers" the thread.
Confused
@Ciaran. Yeah I checked out Reaktor on my pal's system. Was running Razor, sounds V good, I wouldn't mind delving into the synth/ fx side of it. Do you create your own patches?

Alchemy can import them. The waves I was after were sampled from several synths, since they were only a few kb each, there was shit loads.
Why would I google it, it was hosted on this site... Roll Eyes
Anyway if you are interested check http://www.adventurekid.se/akrt/waveforms/

Do it in Edison. zoom right in on the loop points, highlight to the right and fade in on the 1st point, highlight left and fade out out on the second.

zero cross check? or zoom in and find a smoother loop point. Some type of samples are never going to loop seamlessly. You can try what impact says and in some cases this is the ideal.
I'd move the start loop point slightly left if it clicks more move it right. You should be able to see a "click" in the wave by the shape, try scrolling in and out to see the change of the shape of the wave.

RE: Static from studio monitor? 04-08-2011 14:01 Forum: Hardware

Try plugging them in away from your monitor? Are they nearfield?
I just got a pair of sony MDR-7509hd's and when I plugged them into my break-out box I noticed a low hum/rumble. It turned out to be my box being too close to the power lead going to my monitors. So I just moved the box and everything is ok.
I never noticed the noise with my other (cheapo) headphones.
I have an optical connection to my monitors, but I'm asuming if it was a normal phono lead it would pick up the noise too?
Just checked, you are using audio cables. If you are not using balanced cables you are more likely to pick up "noise".
Yeah, I'd check ur cable set up.

Hey all, anyone remember a post that one of the more senior members put up. It was a link to alot of single cycle waveforms, to be used as oscillators?
Also what synths can import these? Using FL10.

very easy to say so and thanks for the advice but if I turn to a forum and not to make good music but to make the best music I like

Simple!
Read up on Eq, basic mastering and sort out your low frequencies. Buy some good headphones/monitors but THE most important thing to do is
BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAH!
seriously, try Tom Tom! There might be a direct route to making the BEST music!
